Editing Exercise

This is the clip that I created when completing the editing exercise. To edit the clips together I had to teach myself how to use Adobe Premier Pro, a new software to me as I used Adobe After Effects to edit my opening title sequence for my AS level coursework. As a result I now have the ability to use two different editing software, which will put me in a good position to edit my final music video. I also learnt how to use markers effectively during the piece which is key to get right as it will effect lip sync, which has a major influence on the mark that I will receive for the video.

This link shows how to use markers in Adobe Premier Pro. I included this link in this post as I found it useful when conducting my editing exercise which involved cutting clips at the exact right time, on the beat. I used markers to highlight when the beats occurred and edited the video clips at the same time of the beats, to keep in continuity with music video cuts. The link also shows a step by step guide of how to apply markers, which made it easier to understand when I followed the guide, allowing me to get the most our of using markers on Premier Pro.
